ANDREAS BUSSE

I'm a senior at the University of Missouri and I am set to graduate in May 2024. I'm pursuing degrees in Journalism and Political Science. I am currently looking for producing positions starting in Summer 2024.

I was born in Munich, Germany, but I have lived all around the world from São Paulo in Brazil to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to Seattle in the United States. Throughout that time I have loved learning about the places I call home and consider myself a globally minded person and producer. I am also a dual American and German citizen able to work in both the US and EU without additional documentation or visas.

I am currently a Producer and Weekend Executive Producer for KOMU 8 News covering Mid-Missouri, but have worked as a Digital Producer and Reporter. I have produced shows focusing on high-profile events ranging from changes in legislation affecting transgender youth to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. I have previous experience interning for FOX 13 in Seattle and Euronews in Brussels, Belgium.
